Itaca... reached the end of the journey!

It has been an amazing journey and we have some fantastic memories. A very BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has supported us and accompanied us on the journey.

Since 2005 Abergele Community Action has operated a Community Hub and Internet Cafe known as Itaca... out of Hesketh House. At the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, like many other High Street businesses, we had to close our doors to the public. The Foodbank and the Community Money Advice continued to operate, albeit a little differently. The Youth Shed delivered online activities and continued to support and encourage our young people.

Abergele Community Action has moved!

Transport For Wales has undertaken a restoration of Heritage buildings at Pensarn Railway Station and we have taken a Lease of two station buildings. Abergele Community Money Advice can now be found on Platform 2 and Abergele District Foodbank in the Old Booking Office. We look forward to continuing to serve the community in our new location.  Look out for more restoration work at the station buildings!!!
